Registration Details
Attendees are encouraged to attend the conference in-person, since that provides the best conference experience overall.
In-person conference registration provides access to:
- All conference and workshop sessions
- All conference keynote presentations
- All receptions, poster, and demo sessions
- The conference banquet
- Conversations on the conference Discord channel
For attendees who are unable to attend in person, FDG has a remote attendance option.
Remote conference registration provides access to:
- All conference sessions
- All conference keynote presentations
- Workshops vary by workshop
- Conversations on the conference Discord channel
Remote attendees will not be able to attend the poster or demo sessions, since these will not be presented in a hybrid format.
If you register for remote participation after April 7th please send an email to fdg2025@univie.ac.at to ensure you receive access.

Additional Funding
The Society for the Advancement of the Science of Digital Games sponsors FDG and is generously providing funds for our FDG Travel Assistance Program to help cover travel and registration costs.

While applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, initial decisions will be made soon after the initial March 9, 2025 deadline.
Priority is given to students and early career researchers with accepted submissions to the main conference or to affiliated workshops.
